the Driving Camp is becoming the STARD Driving Camp!

Yes, there’s some news about our venue that might interest you:
The “Stohl Group”, led by the well-known Austrian rally driver Manfred Stohl, has been the new owner of the Driving Camp in Pachfurth for several weeks now. For years, his internationally positioned “high-performance automotive company” has been one of the world’s leading pioneers in the development and production of vehicles with all types of powertrains: electric, combustion engines and even high-performance hybrids!

World-class high-tech! 
The Stohl Group includes the STARD (Stohl Advanced Research and Development) division – the name that will now be used for our brand! From now on, we will be working hand in hand to further develop the Driving Camp, so that we are even better positioned to cope with the highly dynamic environment of the automotive sector: it will continue to serve as a venue for driver training, product presentations, vehicle testing and fun events (more on this here).

But from now on, we are “more” than just an event venue! 
Already on display are brand-new, state-of-the-art research facilities, laboratory equipment, test benches and design departments. Then there are workshops straight out of a picture book: on the one hand, they’re filled with vehicles of all kinds, spacious workbenches and high-tech equipment everywhere – and all of it is so clean and tidy it looks like a showroom. Well, that’s how car development works these days.

By the way: our customers will, of course, continue to have access to our extensive in-house facilities for events – in addition to the seminar rooms, this includes the two halls mentioned above, plus the reception hall.

Innovations and upgrades coming soon! 
What happens next? Our on- and off-road tracks will also benefit from future innovations and upgrades. For example, our circuit is being further developed into the perfect test track, and the individual modules are also set for an upgrade in the near future. When the time comes, we’ll let you know – we promise.
