That is the official title of the international press launch for the new ‘everyday sports car’, which continues Opel’s ‘long tradition of highly dynamic hot hatches’. That is how the Rüsselheim-based company itself describes it in the event brochure produced especially for the occasion.

Opel CEO Florian Huettl goes on to say: “I am sure that the test drives on the STARD Driving Camp Pachfurth circuit, as well as on the roads in the region, will put a smile on your face.”

And now, in our own words:
They were breathtaking, hot, fast, turbulent, sometimes quiet with just the sound of the electric motors, but at other times really loud with the roar of the rally cars – and simply impressive ten days full of action and adrenaline!

And all this with a consistently brilliant group of people. Whether from Opel, Opel Motorsport, our colleagues at the lead agency EventOptimization or all the other service providers needed for this event!

We tried to make everyone’s stay at the STARD Driving Camp as professional yet as pleasant as possible!

The GSE event covered such a wide range of topics that we will be drawing on it for further articles here. Naturally, these will cover different topics, such as the new Driving Camp-Rally-Tracks, our brand-new electric charging infrastructure, new branding initiatives and a few celebrity stories involving those who turned up in Pachfurth as Opel brand ambassadors.
