A racetrack in Pachfurth? Of course that’s not true!

Although at the press event for the new Opel Corsa GSE, we actually had TWO “racetracks” on offer: a BRAND-NEW rally course and a pure asphalt circuit. Both completely independent of each other (obviously!) and yet each over a kilometer long.

Now, here’s the big advantage over conventional race tracks: Our course is tailor-made for all-electric cars with their insane torque. With its compact layout and tight corners, they really shine there with their agility and power. Two downhill sections are also perfect for demonstrating the effect of regenerative braking, while on the long straightaway, the outstanding drive power pushes every driver back into their seats!

And that’s exactly why Opel’s hot hatch impressed the journalists, who completed laps both on the road – under the guidance of our instructors (with the journalists themselves behind the wheel!) – and off-road as co-pilots alongside rally pros. Proof? Here you go! ‍️
